a typical challenge to most of our residential projects is choice and position of the stairs. the staircase is an architectural component that is like a spine that directs the stance of architecture in distributing the program. typically we lean towards the use of a linear stairs or u-stairs, but we tried a sculptural composition of a c-stair. recent site visit took longer than expected but the c-stairs is coming out really nice.
